    Digital Cabin

Comfy cabin in a rough digital ocean

Welcome to my website, I'm dweller! As any website worth its salt, it's perpetually in development. And as any real blog, it has gaps measured in years! Feel free to explore! I have provided tags for the posts, as well as, a search function.

Make sure to check the whole log, and explore the links below. I post small updates there when I add a new thing that isn't a log entry, like a new project, or a standalone page.

You can also check out various images of mine in the #gallery. I post my photos, screenshots, 3D renders and whatever else I can fit in there.

If you found anything here interesting, thanks first of all, and check the feeds! They are granular so you can subscribe only to the things you like!

Lastly, I publicly host some code I've written, in addition to general file share. Where I put my own stuff, plus the things I found interesting and can share.

P.S. I have a bit of a backlog of things I'd like to share, so hopefully thing will grow. Perhaps I should create feed for this too...

P.P.S. Are you a retro enthusiast? Or maybe you just don't have a powerful computing device? Have a bad connection? Just hate my CSS style? Using a terminal browser? Try retro-ish version of this site. It uses no CSS at all! And, of course, just like the main version, no JavaScript to hog you down. It does use HTML5 tags, but I tested this on some old browsers, and they cope very well. Oh and, it's hosted on HTTP not HTTPS, because TLS is too hard for many older systems. (Already on retro page and want to check out modern one? Click here!)

If your setup doesn't work for any reason, please shoot me an email with the description of your system and browser, and maybe a photo of what's wrong. I'll try to fix it!

    New things!

    Русский военный корабль, иди нахуй!

Ukraine and her people are facing existential threat due to Russian War of Aggression. It started in 2014 with forceful annexation of Crimea, and War in Donbas region of Ukraine by Russia and Russian proxies. It took a whole new level on 24th of February, 2022. Massive missiles strikes and full-scale war involving all branches of military. Ukraine now has lost more than 18% of its territory, and countless lives. The barbaric way with which Russia wages its unjust war by striking civilian infrastructure, like power plants and hospitals, shows that they are not interested in anything but total cleansing of the territory of the Ukrainian people. The frontline has the length not seen in Europe since World War 2. So please, if you can spare anything, donate to Ukrainian people.

Do NOT donate to International Red Cross as they are unwilling to actually provide aid where it matters and want to keep cooperating with the aggressor. Please check who you donate to, as in any crisis or conflict, scammers rise up. Local Ukrainian organizations are preferred, as they are most aware of the needs.

Lastly, to all the citizens and subjects of countries whose governments provide national help. Do consider that when your government sends aid to Ukraine, the money often stays in your country. As it is used to pay your people to find, manufacture and deliver the aid to Ukraine. Some help is direct, yes, but it's not a zero sum game, your help helps your economy too.

    Thank you!
